Ok so they're almost done...missing the obvious basing material, parachute insignia and a couple of beards but apart from that they are done!
The first pics are the sniper and a regular rifleman. I've gone with the advice of a few guys over on LAF and left the camo pattern a tad more distinct to help make them pop at tabletop distance.
The beige colour of the smock has a lot more depth in the acual light (or if I could photograph properly)
The glaze is still wet on the backs of these hence a little shiny camo
A couple of bren gunners. I may highlight the gun just a fraction to make it stand out a little more
My favourite Artizan figure to date.
Next up I'll do the quintessential red beret guys and the vickers HMG
Very good painting indeed sir! As I'm about to start my own force, mostly using these very figures, I've added you to my blog roll on my own humble blog.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing more.
Thanks
Matt
Thanks Matt,
ReplyDeleteI noticed that Warlord just announced they're releasing a plastic British Airborne kit sometime in the near future too. Might be something to keep an eye on. I have to say though that I really do like the sculpts on the Artizan figures
